After beginning my academic journey in the sciences, I transitioned to study English and Classics, where I discovered a lasting passion for writing. That path ultimately led me to complete a Master’s Degree in Writing under the tutelage of Goldsmith and Dublin Literary Award-winning author Mike McCormick, former Irish Times editor Lorna Siggins, and award-winning memoirist Arnold Fanning, among others.

Under their guidance, I honed not only the technical craft of writing but also the art of storytelling, learning to balance clarity with creativity, structure with nuance, and research with narrative flair. I developed a deep appreciation for the power of voice and perspective; practiced meticulous editing; and cultivated the ability to adapt my writing to diverse audiences and formats. This mentorship strengthened my confidence in producing both compelling creative work and precise, engaging content for professional and digital contexts.

During and after university, I taught myself web design and worked as a writer, content creator, editor, and web designer for DesignBurst Ltd. Alongside building over 50 websites from scratch, I produced tailored written materials for SMEs, including blogs, articles, and marketing copy; all optimised for clarity, engagement, and SEO.
